Thank God!

It's been a looooooooooooooooooong time since I've blogged. Got inspired because uncle John Lee has just put up his new blog...so hip of him...ha ha ha.....anyway, so what's up with me ? I've been busy recently due to changes in the ministry with many transitions coming a long with the young adults, even myself also transiting in ministry to do more outreach among the parents of the kindergarten. Recently God has been telling me to go ahead without fear cause this is where he is leading me. Though the road ahead will not be a smooth one, but he promises me that he'll be there.

You know in ministry we always have "problems" that we talk about in ministry and life, yes every ministry, every work, every family, every school, every government, every system, has it's problems and "room for improvement" as our Singapore society would put it. I'm not surprised, cause it's sinful people involved in all of this, including me. But one thing I can always be glad and joyful about is that God is sovereign and he somehow uses weak people like us to accomplish his purposes, often not in the way that we envision it to be, but His way nonetheless. I thank God that he is faithful and will stay true to his promises and his word. I thank God whenever I see a person who through their difficulties, encounter God and draw near to him. I thank God whenever I see a youth responding to God with passion. I thank God when I see his faithful people pressing on and not giving up when ministry gets "routine", while waiting upon God for his Holy Spirit to refresh and empower us for the long haul. Indeed there are many things to thank God for if we would only pause to see what God is doing, and focus less on what we are or are not doing or what others are not doing. I thank God !
